This is the MugPunters.com.au podcast for Thursday 14th December 2017 and in our breaking news headlines this week:
- Chris Gayle has made headlines scoring 18 sixes on his way to an unbeaten 146 off 69 balls in the Bangladesh Premier League cricket final. Interviewed after the match, Gayle proclaimed himself to be the “greatest batsman of all time”, no doubt before asking the journalist out on a date and flashing his member to the team physio. All those involved have been sent for counseling.
- Manly is at the centre of a salary cap scandal in the NRL with alleged excessive third party payments dating back several years. When questioned about the alleged payments, captain Daly Cherry-Evans slammed the accusations before his identical twin bikini model assistants closed the door for him on his gold Ferrari as he ordered Morgan Freeman, who has recently become his driver to speed away from the waiting media mob.
- And my long range worthwhile weekly wager from last week may be in a touch of doubt after multiple Tour de France winner Chris Froome has tested positive for salbutamol taken from a drug test at last year’s Tour of Spain. Froome has denied these allegations, suggesting it must have due to the team doctor ordering him to up his dosage of asthma medication. In unrelated news, asthmatic cases in Russian athletes is up 382% with Russian team doctors also confirming rare blood disorders that require daily transfusions are up 226% and are pleading to the public to understand that these athletes need this medical care just to keep them alive. Because if they don’t follow the doping program, they’d be shot.
